Custom scripting request info
Understand has a powerful Perl and C API that provide access to the entire knowledge base it has about your code. Analyst edition owners can write scripts for the Pro and Analyst editions.
Much can be done in a few hours. An example might be a script to prove two threads do not share common data.
Specialized reports, as-built documentation and code checks request info
Do you have a coding standard, a set of implementation rules (for instance forbidding dependence between certain components) or a recurring as-built documentation requirement?
We have written hundreds of scripts, and API programs checking coding standards, verifying coding rules compliance, and automatically creating useful and accurate as-built documentation.
Metrics customization and collection request info
Our experts can implement new metrics per your request. For instance if you have a long history of a specific definition of counting lines of code, we can implement that definition.
Using scripts and API programs they can also build multi-project metrics collection, aggregation and reporting systems.
Add support for a new language request info
We are happy to add support for any programing language you require. we can add support at three levels:
- Metrics collection only (this can be done in a week or less per language)
- Assembler language (We offer a fixed price of $9,990 for support of an assembler)
- Full language support (equivalent to the support we have for Ada). (Cost will vary with language )
Architectural Modeling request info
Our team members can work with your project experts to build solid architectural models that they can share throughout their projects. Examples include functional decomposition, requirements mapping to source, COTS/security architecting. This can usually be done as part of an initial/get started training consultation.
User Training request info
We can do an on-site training or bring key members of your team to us. We can also provide vary inexpensive training via the web.
